Welcome to my Website

I started in the Amateur Radio hobby back in 1989 while serving with the Marine Corps at the Naval Air Station Willow Grove, PA, and was originally assigned the call of KA3WLV. After retiring from my military service, I returned back to school and started a whole new career. This left little time for the hobby for years, but as I never wanted to have to take the morse code test again, I kept my ham ticket active. staying with my Technician Plus license for nearly 29 years.

In March of 2021, a call came out from my town Fire Chief to all Amateurs to assist with communications for COVID 19 response. This sparked my interest, and I contacted a local Amateur Radio Club (Providence Radio Association - PRA - W1OP). The club offered no exams so I traveled to New England Sci-Tech in Natick, MA, and took my General Exam in June, returning there for my Extra Exam in December of 2021. On Feb 23, 2022, I was granted the new callsign of N1ET. I am no longer involved with the PRA.

I still love the hobby, having been fully active since that initial call to duty, and am really enjoying being a ham, which I intend to be all of my life.
